Homeopathy for colds, flu and immunity

Acute support for coughs and colds, and resilience between them

Some people catch every cold going around; others get sick rarely but hard. Homeopathy offers both short-term acute remedies for a cold or flu and longer-term constitutional care for people who are frequently unwell.

In acute illness, how symptoms began and how the person behaves often matter most: sudden or slow onset, thirsty or not, wanting company or wanting to be left alone.

The homeopathic approach

Looking at the whole person

For acute illness, a homeopath looks at the specific picture of this cold or flu. For frequent illness, a full consultation explores the whole person: sleep, stress, diet and health history. Homeopathy does not replace vaccination or medical care.

When to see your doctor first

(homeopathy is complementary care, not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment)

Difficulty breathing, chest pain or bluish lips

Fever above 103°F (39.4°C), or any fever in an infant under 3 months

Confusion, stiff neck, severe headache or a rash that doesn't fade under pressure

Symptoms that improve then return worse, or last more than 10 days

Questions about homeopathy for colds, flu and immunity

Is homeopathy a replacement for vaccines?

No. Homeopathy is complementary care and is not a substitute for vaccination or medical treatment. Talk to your doctor about vaccines.

Can homeopathy help if I get sick often?

Frequent illness is a common reason people seek constitutional care. A full consultation looks at your overall health and patterns, not just individual colds.
